Chris Buttacavoli

Alright ladies and gentleman, for those of you who don't know Chris already, the following should help you out. First of all, this awesome dude has been coming to Faith center for as he would put it, his whole "life-ish". What does that actually mean you ask...I don't know, you should ask him though. He is at the top of the ranks at Willamette High School (he's a senior), and he is also attending the MAN only D-Group lead by THE Ryan Thompson and Keith Testerman. Now when you meet a guy who has been apart of the high school group all throughout high school, you would think there would be a deep and profound memory he would have from the group. Well folks, that's just what we have here. When asked about a top memory from the high school group, he answers with this quote, "Oh my bacon is drop dead gorgeous". That quote could be put up there along with the quotes from ancient philosophers as far as we're concerned. Anyways, that is not where the bacon references stop. If he was put in the position of having to eat one type of food for the rest of his life, he went straight to bacon. Way to be bold Chris! Don't let anyone tell you that that's a bad idea.
Chris was also asked about living in any other place for 1 month and he picked Atlantis because it's nice and humid...We also wanted to find what animal would suit him the best for his personality and he said he was patriotic and loved people. And when you think of those qualities it would be obvious that the perfect animal for those traits would be the majestic walrus. That's right, the 3,700 lb mammal with tusks and whiskers. Can't love people more than a walrus can. I hope all of you get to know Chris after reading this perfect bio. He is a kid with quite the sense of humor and some amazing guitar skills.

Thanks for reading!

Keegan Moyer

Fun Fact: if anyone needs tips on cooking a mean eggs benedict, Keegan is the man for the job. He knows the perfect ingredients and the perfect way to present it to someone special. He did it so well it made his mom cry on Mother's Day. Way to go Keegan! Now back to the bio.
Keegan is in his 2nd year of receiving quality education at Churchill high school and he also receives quality spiritual education by attending Luis and Delancey's D-Group every Wednesday night. He has been with Faith Center for 15 years and one of his favorite memories from the past has been when he went to middle school camp with nothing. It is a miracle he is still with us today....that's a true survivor man right there. He would also like to survive on the moon in the rare case that a giant asteroid crashes into the earth and had to evacuate elsewhere in the solar system. We then asked Keegan of an animal that best describes him and he really struggled with this one. Initially, he wanted to put down a fox, but after asking those around him he settled with the hairy, acrobatic, and playful monkey...not saying that those traits just listed best describe him of course. Now a question that took less than a second for him to answer was what tv series would he pick to watch for the rest of his life. He instantly answered "Psych" which is up there on the top shows the blog is interested in.
The final question he answered had to do with meeting a person. If he could meet anybody in the history of the world he would want to meet Carter Beauford. Don't know who that is, well neither did we. Keegan refers to Carter as the most amazing drummer so we just had to youtube him and here's what we found:

Pretty impressive!

That's some good stuff Keegan, thanks for the info!

Kaitlin Riley

This wonderful person is a senior at Home Source and is currently attending Luis's D-Group. She has been coming to Faith Center since she was in 6th grade. Kaitlin wins the award for the most time spent on pondering the answer to these questions. Instead of summarizing the interview in the normal paragraph form, you can get to know her better if we format this as a simple question and answer. Enjoy!
Q: If you could eat only one type of food for the rest of your life, what would you pick and why?
A: It would have to be Italian because I love pizza, pasta, garlic bread, and Olive Garden' breadsticks. You can't just have one basket! Haha.
Q: Where would be a place you would like to live for 1 month and why?
A: I'd have to say Sky Camp because that is where I became who I am today. It's my home. I always feel safe, loved, peaceful, and more when i am there. Especially when i look at the lake, because i start picturing people flying off of inner-tubes.
Q: What is a top memory from high school group?
A: That's a tough question. I've had so many amazing things happen while coming to Faith Center's high school group and camps (I've never missed high school camp and it's something the everyone should experience). One of the many things that I remember from being a part of this group is that when i first came to high school group, a lot of people came up to me and would start talking to me and actually took the time to get to know me. I had never had this happen to me before.
Q: What is an animal that best describes your personality?
A: A river otter because they are cute, kind, like to swim, and like to cuddle.

Thanks for telling us so much about yourself Kaitlin. Get to know her more everybody!

Aaron Honn

First off we have a kid that has been coming to Faith Center for the last 5 years, Aaron Honn. If you ask him what got him to start coming to high school group he will answer with, "Molly Salyers". He had a crush on Molly back in the 8th grade and heard that she went to Faith Center, so naturally he came to hang out with her, and he's been coming ever since! Cool story huh?
Anyways, he is a Senior at South Eugene High School and also attends the South D-Group headed up by Michelle, Kaitlin, and Thad. In all of his years with the group, one of his favorite memories with the high school group centers around summer camp last year, and more specifically around the first night of worship. Just another reason to sign up for this year!
One of his favorite colors happens to be purple with blue in close second. If you want to ask him out to dinner he enjoys hitting up the classic Bangkok Grill for his meal. If you don't know Aaron already you should know that one of his favorite hobbies is Ultimate Frisbee where he has achieved some pretty cool accomplishments, go ahead and ask him about it. If Aaron was stuck on a deserted island in the middle of the ocean and could only listen to one song for the rest of his life on the island he said that it would have to be "Your Body is a Wonderland", by good ol' John Mayer. When given the option of any obtaining any superpower, he chose to grab the ability to give himself more superpowers....any explanation needed?

Well there you have it folks, Aaron Honn. Get to know him more in person now.

David Carcamo

We also have David Carcamo here. Now David is kinda new to Faith center, he has only been coming here....his whole life! Now that is one experienced church attendee! He is currently a sophomore at Willamette High School and attends the North Eugene D-Group lead by the wonderful duo of Jessica Haley and Connor McCroskey. Some of his favorite memories with high school group are Big Sunday's and worship.
A few fun facts about David start with his favorite color of the beautiful, the majestic, the awe-inspiring, neon green. Now in order to get to his favorite restaurant you are going to need to drive a little ways to P-Town (Portland for those of you who aren't into the cool lingo) where you will find the quaint mexican restaurant "Por Que No?" David would highly recommend it to all. A recent hobby he has picked up is Racquetball. If you're into a sport that is guaranteed to make you sweat and truly test your hand-eye coordination, try racquetball. Out of all of the classic musical numbers in the history of music, David has chosen to listen to "Call Me a Duck" by On the Rocks as his one song on an island. All you duck fans gotta love that selection! When David walks into a room filled with superpowers, he is going to walk up to the center of the room where the classic, most coveted superpower lies....Flying. Now some people may pick flying for the reason of feeling the wind in their face, to cruise from place to place around the world, but not David, he picks flying for the value of being able to save his money from being wasted on anything "car-like".

David Carcamo everybody! Give him a round of applause!

Elizabeth Hill

We are also blessed with being able to get to know the wonderful Elizabeth Hill. Now Elizabeth is very new to High School, she is only about 7 months into her freshman year at Churchill. She is also a part of Jessica and Connor's North Eugene D-Group. She has attended camp at sky camp once already and has a great memory from the camp. It was morning service and the guys and girls had been separated for the services. Kathy Gilbert had the girls at the service stand on their chairs and chant at the guys, "I Am Somebody". This has a huge impact on her life and changed the way she thought about herself and her friendships with guys. Great story Elizabeth! She has been attending Faith Center for about a year now which means that there are plenty of you who don't know much about her yet. Let's hope the following helps with that:
Her favorite color is the vivacious, outgoing, and classic pink. Among the many restaurants in the area, she enjoys eating at King Estates for some wonderful fine dining. What does Elizabeth enjoy doing as her hobby? The answer to that is simple, she enjoys the sport of Cheerleading. The sport of flips, throws, and of course, cheering. Now i'm sure most of you would not guess the song that Elizabeth would play on her lonely island for the rest of her life. The answer..."Friday", by the rising star Rebecca Black....ok, that was a large joke. She would actually pick "More Beautiful You" by Jonny Diaz. Way more likely than "friday"....Anyways, she would like to obtain the power to read minds for the purpose of knowing when something is wrong with someone. She could use this superpower to save lives!

There's Elizabeth in a nutshell ladies and gents!
